We've got a special Challenge for you this summer...
Our first race-specific block of work begins July 5. We want you fired up for it -- but we also want you truly ready to reap the benefits of the hard work ahead.
So we've built a Challenge around these two ideas:
- First, we'll start with a 3-week "habit build" to help you nail the basics in an area like sleep or nutrition.
- After that 3-week focus, we'll wrap up the Challenge with a "Fireworks 5K" run to showcase your fitness and help get you fired up for Q3.
We strongly encourage all current Squad and 1:1 athletes to complete this Challenge. It's easy to participate! Here's how:
- DOWNLOAD AND USE THE CHALLENGE SHEET that we created for you HERE (it's also attached to the bottom of this article). It explains the Challenge and will help you track your progress for the 3-week "habit build". As you'll see, accountability will be important, so if you're in our athlete Facebook group make sure to comment on our check-in posts!
- COMPLETE YOUR FIREWORKS 5K AND RACE REPORT: Complete your Fireworks 5K anytime between July 2-4. Then submit a Race Report about it: you'll find the link to the Race Report in your Today's Plan training calendar on July 5th.
We'll have reminders in your Baseline training for the next few weeks to help keep you on track as well. This is a perfect time to step back and really make sure that you're set up for success the rest of this season.
