Today’s Plan allows you, the athlete, to customize what information and data you see on your calendar view.
To set your preferences, click on the small blue and white arrow in the top right hand corner to open your workouts and plans.
Select the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) and a menu of viewing options appear.
At Purple Patch, we recommend that you scroll to the bottom and select “Reset to Defaults” as we’ve set up defaults that will be valuable to your training progression.
Important features to make sure you’ve selected:
- Whether or not you would like to “View Optional Workouts” or not. If you check the box, you will have the full calendar view for the week. If you deselect the box, you will only see the priority sessions for the week. Read this article for more info.
- Your next “A” Race
- Show Week Number leading to race
- Show Subjective Wellness Ratings
- Highlight Sport - this will color code the disciplines making them more easily viewable
Ultimately, what you choose to see is your personal preference, but we do recommend keeping it simple so that you can focus on nailing the basics.
