In a world in which we become more and more obsessed and controlled by objective data, it is imperative that we complete the picture with ongoing subjective review and analysis. It is only when we combine the two, over time, that a complete picture and set of trends can begin to emerge. It is less about a daily action and more about creating real-world pictures of our development, trends, and progression. We can only do this if we both track objective measurements and combine it with honest training logs and subjective tracking. In Purple Patch Methodology, this is your secret to utilizing data appropriately.
To record and measure your subjective wellness ratings on the Today's Plan website:
- Make sure you have selected “Record Subjective Wellness Ratings” as one of your customization options.
- You will see a star on the bottom left-hand corner of each training day.
- Click on that star to rate your subjective wellness markers such as sleep, mood, stress, and diet.
You will then be able to track these markers over time on the Purple Patch Fitness dashboard giving you a complete real-world view of both your objective and subjective markers.
There are two ways to record and measure your subjective wellness ratings on the Today's Plan mobile app:
- Select the Day Metrics tab at the bottom of the app. From there, you can select to record Body and Sleep metrics and your Wellness Ratings for each day.
- On the Calendar tab, Click on the star on each day’s specific workouts and measure your subjective wellness ratings.
