With the Purple Patch Squad, your calendar will automatically be loaded with the baseline training plan each week unless you have a specific Race Build applied. You can apply a Race Build immediately after you have added a race or you can wait to receive an email reminder when it is time to apply your build. We recommend you simply apply the Race Build immediately to the appropriate weeks, as this will ensure your baseline program doesn’t get dumped into your Today’s Plan account. You can also briefly review the rhythm of that race build plan ahead of time. Before you add your Race Build: We recommend you review the options and best use of our 4, 7, and 10-week Race Builds. To apply a Race Build to your calendar, you can follow the steps below or watch the accompanying video: Log in to your Today’s Plan account on the website (cannot be done via mobile app) Select the Purple Patch Squad Race Plans Make sure you have a key race added to your calendar and count back the number of weeks of the plan you would like to apply (10 weeks, for instance, in an IRONMAN build) Simply drag and drop that build on the Monday you would like to start. It will take a few seconds to populate, but you will quickly see the entire race build load into your calendar.
