Workout Toggle Feature
This Today's Plan Toggle Feature allows you to choose your weekly and daily workout load/view to suit your level, life schedule, and fitness level.
Your choices:
- View One: Displays every prescribed session of the week - you manage your schedule and workout load through scaling options. 12 and over hours of work.
- View Two: Displays a single daily priority session (plus strength workouts) chosen by your Purple Patch coaching team. Under 12 hours of work.
View Two is a wonderful option for time-starved athletes, newer athletes, and those with less experience or fitness.
The default view will be set to View One.
How to change your view:
ON THE DESKTOP:
- Select the hamburger menu on the top right of your calendar view
- For “View One”
- Check “Show Optional Workouts” to show ALL prescribed sessions
- You will now see all prescribed sessions
- For “View Two”
- Uncheck “Show Optional Workouts” to show only Priority Sessions
- You will now view only the priority sessions of the week (you may need to refresh your screen)
- You will see a downward arrow on the days in which there is an additional session which you can view by clicking the downward arrow - these are the sessions that are hidden if the “Show Optional Workouts” box is unchecked
ON THE MOBILE APP:
- In the app, select the gear icon on the top right-hand corner
- For “View One ”
- Check “Show Optional Workouts” to show ALL prescribed sessions
- You will now see all prescribed sessions
- For “View Two”
- Uncheck “Show Optional Workouts” to show only Priority Sessions
- You will now view only the priority sessions of the week
A Few Tips:
- If you are not seeing the “Show Optional Workouts” option in the mobile app, ensure your app is up to date and/or delete the app and reinstall to push through the new update
- If you utilize both desktop and app you must make the view change in both places. A change in the desktop setting does not carry over to the app (and vice versa).
- Training hours will vary depending on if you ride outdoors or if you are within a race build. These are broad guidelines to help you determine the optimal set-up. Remember, your optimal set up might change from week to week depending on life.
