George Jordan: 10 Min PR at Escape from Alcatraz Based off of Feel

Squad member George Jordan has reason to celebrate! At Escape from Alcatraz in San Francisco on June 9th, 2019, he had a bike PR and relative run PR from 2017. His 2019 bike was 10 min faster than 2017 and the run was identical. He did not use any metrics, instead, he strictly raced on feel and felt great with a strong finish. This 58 year-old Radiologist from Elizabeth City, NC, even had the confidence to talk smack to a much younger fellow athlete at the last mile of the run and leave him in the dust!

George states, "Purple Patch Fitness encourages me to focus on recovery. As a lifelong athlete, it’s easy to work hard but it's a learned skill to rest."
