QOTW: Training Considerations for the Maturing Athlete?

    I am very interested in this as I am a "mature" athlete.  I would be particularly interested in how intense the swims can/should be since there is less stress vs running.  Can my swims be fairly intense (i swim 3x a week until about May and then it is 4x with one be an OWS) with one tough day for biking and one for running?
