Question on the run threshold test of 20 minutes at 90-95% effort. I understand we need to hold back a bit since we're really going for our 1-hour threshold pace. Any advice on how to keep it 95%? I was probably closer to 100% on the last benchmark test.

Hi, quick question about the Squad workouts for this coming week! I'm seeing a fairly tough looking bike workout called "Building Efforts" scheduled for the same day as the Ramp Test on my Today's Plan. Is that meant to be executed after the ramp test (and before the brick run)? Or is that workout a holdover from an alternative plan for this week that didn't include assessments on Wednesday/Thursday?

Alex (  Any advice on how to keep it 95%? I was probably closer to 100% on the last benchmark test.)

    Few Quick Tips.

    - Able to say a couple of short words, breathing is rhythmic, not ragged.

    - You have another gear

    - The effort feels sustainable and rhythmic.

    - You can adjust pace/effort to maintain rhythm and straddle that line of "control"

    Logan,

Please execute one, but not both sessions. The second session is for those skipping benchmark weeks
